Starting your quote is simple. Follow the steps below to make sure your project information reaches the right vendors.
Main Contractor & Subcontractors
The Main Contractor covers the structure of the project. If your project requires structural construction work, select the Main Contractor group. For more information about the contractor group and its coverage, see Vendor Structures.
Subcontractors cover their own specialisation. Select the individual subcontractor trades that match the specialist work required for your project.
How to start your quote:
- Select the required trades. Choose Main Contractor for structural work and select the relevant Subcontractors for their specialist areas.
- Upload your drawings and documents. Add the project information the vendors need to understand and price the work.
- Read each product and trade description. Use the description and guidance to understand what the trade covers before you select it.
- Check your cart carefully. Make sure every trade you require is in your cart and that the correct drawings or attachments are included.
- Checkout with your site address. Your site address is important. Enter the address where the work will take place so the vendors can price with the correct project location.
- Receive your confirmation. After checkout, you will receive a confirmation with the vendor company names and contact numbers for follow-up.
Before you checkout
Take a final moment to confirm that you have selected all the trades required for your project, uploaded the relevant drawings and attachments, read the trade descriptions, and entered the correct site address. A complete request gives vendors the information they need to follow up with you.
